Join us on July 13, 2008 for Edmonton's Countryside Country Cuisine - TASTE! of Summer - a celebration of regional cuisine. Our annual one-day culinary event featuring regional chefs, gifted growers, the best beers, cider and cuisine Edmonton's Countryside has to offer. Location: St. Albert Grain Elevator Park, St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.
The picturesque St. Albert Grain Elevator Park will be alive with festive tents laden with tantalizing aromas to tempt your taste buds, artisans to stimulate your passion for art, and fabulous jazz entertainment. ADMISSION: Be sure to get your $15 tickets in advance from Ticketmaster on line or by phone at 780-451-8000 for our celebration.
Limited tickets are available at the door - $20 each. Event is limited to 350 tickets. Date: Sunday, July 13, 2008 - 3 pm to 7 pm
With the purchase of a $15.00 admission ticket, you will receive a souvenir cook book, five TASTE! tickets for TASTE! samples, live jazz, free demonstrations, and the opportunity to mix and mingle with local chefs and farmers.
 EAT Purchase additional sampling tickets @ $1.00 each at the on site Sample Ticket booth (new for 2008!). Each chef and grower will partner to create and serve taste experiences at their booths, marrying the local foods and flavors of our region. For example, Chef Kirk Popik, of Bricco Ristorante, will feature duck from Leduc area farmer, Greens Eggs & Ham. Many other regional cuisine specialists will create fantastic taste experiences with local fresh food. Wild Boar, Lamb in Adobe, Moroccan Ribs, are just some of the TASTES! to enjoy.
Shop The Alberta Farmers Market Association mini - market, and get to know local farmers, as they sell their fantastic farm-fresh products.
Enjoy Art Edmonton's Countryside Artisans will be on site with their works. Guests will meet local artists and will have the opportunity to purchase amazing pieces.
Jazz Musicians: Local and talented Jazz Band Stephen Tchir Trio will be performing throughout the evening.
