Mundare

Mundare is home to the world’s largest Ukrainian sausage.

The town is renowned for its great tasting kubasa produced by the Stawnichy family for years. The many small craft and quilting shops located in Mundare really add a touch of country living to the town. Also located here is the A Fathers Museum, housing an intriguing collection of artifacts and history.

 

Right next to the museum is the Ukrainian Park Recreation Area, a fully serviced campsite and recreation area. The park provides serviced camp stalls, shower facilities, a public telephone, picnic shelter and large fire pits. Perfect for any overnight stay!  The residents here are warm and friendly, proving that Mundare truly is a small town with a big heart.
