Fort Saskatchewan

Picture Yourself in Beautiful Fort Saskatchewan…

15 minutes from Edmonton. Stay overnight in our campground in the river valley next to the cooling breezes blowing off the North Saskatchewan River, or in a local bed and breakfast, or one of our hotels or motels. You’re right next to 30 km of paved walking and biking trails that wind through the park system. The parks in Fort Saskatchewan are truly amazing and offer every experience. We have the Kin Family Spray Park for some water fun, Legacy Park for great outdoor entertainment, and Turner Park in the beautiful river valley. It’s just a short drive to golf courses, indoor swimming pool, the downtown historic and business core with its variety of restaurants, products and services, and much more.

Visit our flock of sheep during the summer and take a step back in time at the Fort Saskatchewan Museum and Historic Site. Or if you enjoy boating you can slide your canoe or powerboat into the North Saskatchewan River at Red Coat Landing or Strachan’s Landing Dock — only two of a handful of boat launches in the capital region.

While visiting the City of Fort Saskatchewan don’t forget to check out what is happening at the Dow Centennial Centre. For a great night out, the 550 seat performing arts Shell Theatre may just have something on that catches your fancy.
Life is good here!
