Built in 1958, the Spruce Grove Elevator is the last of the three elevators originally serving Spruce Grove and area farmers. This elevator is the last western-most elevator on the Yellowhead highway. It is now a museum and delivers school programs, senior tours, and daily tours for tourists from May until September.

The Pioneer Museum is situated on over 9 acres right in the Town of Stony Plain and has a collection of over 6000 artifacts ranging from small household items up to large farm machinery.
