Country Clay & Garden Works Country Clay & Garden Works

Since 1999, Country Clay and Garden Works has offered Redwater area residents and lucky visitors the best in bedding plants, hanging baskets and gardening advice. Only 45 minutes drive from Edmonton, the 8000 square foot greenhouse is awash with colour and air is thick with the smell of growth. Take a few minutes to enjoy the warmth and beauty of the floral abundance and feed your senses.

Loretta McDermott has been planting since she was old enough to walk. She lavishes time and attention on her annuals, vegetable transplants and roses, and it shows. Ask her anything from the right light to grow dahlias or the best time to hill potatoes to the correct fertilizer for your hanging baskets or how to get rid of aphids. If she doesn’t know the answer, she will find out for you. With background training in plant sciences, Loretta has trained her helpful staff and is more than willing to share her knowledge.

Loretta can even give you advice on the best tree or shrub to suit that sunny spot in your back yard. Whether you need patio pots, trailing plants bursting with colour or prairie-hardy perennials, Country Clay and Garden Works can find something special for you.
